Stock pro tools plugs

Is there a thread anywhere that teaches how to get the best out of the stock pro tools plugins. For instance, I read on Sound on Sound that the stock reverb is great for backup stuff if used sparingly and because is uses less cpu. Or how to make the delay more analogish. What good results one can get from the compressors stock.

Everyone says make the best of what you got.

Use the internet. Log onto You Tube, in the search window type in Pro Tools, there are quite a few tutorial videos posted, some of them have helped me quite a bit.
