You're talking about posting on this forum, right, not on blogs (your title)?

Edit your original post to include both the original and new mixes, make notes in the post about what you change and 'here's the new one'. Save the edit, then post a new reply to the thread to bump it up. This doesn't always work, but many times people will not comment again because they have nothing to offer/suggest.
 
I believe the edit time limit in the mp3 mixing clinic was extended to allow people to add updates to their original post.
This was because people generally reply to the mix in the first post without checking to see if more have been added in posts later on in the thread.

It's up to you but, generally, I'd keep the original there and show the progress so people can track what you've done and reply accordingly.
 
Please don't start a new thread for the same song. Thanks for asking, most people wouldn't be that considerate! :)
