Dear Anyone.
There isn't a softsynth section on this site (Why?) so I'm posting this here, feel free to repost if necessary.
I bought a 2nd hand computer with Sampletank already on it, because it was cheaper and easier than buying the software separately along with the updates my aging computer would have needed. All worked fine until I got a Trojan that demolished my file structure but good.
From the wreckage, I rescued Sampletank itself, which seems to be working fine. Unfortunately, the folders with its instruments in weren't so lucky. BUT, I rescued a PILE of files, all with different extensions.
What I need help with is rebuilding the folder hierarchy so Sampletank can 'see' its instruments again. The names of the folders and what extensions go in which folder would be awesome. The files I've rescued have the following extensions:- .ikmp (not many of those) .STIP, .STW, .STI and .STH. SHEDloads of all of those extensions.
Please, how do I reset the folders so Sampletank can see its instruments again?
