I'm very new to this recording stuff and I need some help if possible. My dad has brought round a Alesis I02 which we plugged in and the drivers installed. We are using cooledit pro 2 as our software. The laptop receives the signal but I cannot hear it at the same time but we can play it back. Does anyone know why this might be happening? We have tried to use my amp as the output of sound however we can only get hear what's been recorded and if I cant hear why i'm recording then its a bit rubbish.
Any help would be great.
