Looking for feedback on my first serious attempt at recording

I'm new to recording. I've kinda figured some stuff out i think, and i recorded my new band's new song, and i would love it if i get get some feedback from someone with experience. i'm not just trying to get people to listen to my music, I'm really looking for some constructive criticism. as far as what i could do better in the mix, what's good about it as it is, anything will help me, as i am really trying to learn as i go along.

It sounds like you're having very rough sex with a barn animal a quarter way into the track. I stopped listening.
 
You're kind of an asshole. I put a lot of effort into these recordings, and I don't know whether you were serious or not, but in a forum atmosphere it's impossible to tell either way. It's one thing to say how I could improve my mix, or give me some sort of helpful advice, and it's another to just be rude.

I tried my best, and it feels really shitty when you put a lot of yourself into something and someone says something like that. I know I'm not that great at recording yet but I'm trying to get better.

Don't get excited about opinions you get on the internet. It's real easy for someone to hide behind a keyboard and if you let them tick you off, they win.

I like the musical arrangement . (kinda reminds me of THE PAPER CHASE)
The recording isn't that bad (for that kinda grove) I'm sure your fans will be pleased with the recording.
The vocalist "IN MY OPINION" is trying to hard. I would suggest spending more time on lyrics , this kinda music is really driven by deep meaningful lyrics, (there is a fine line between abstract and crap).
Once you are completely proud of your lyrics I think then your vocals will come out with more conviction.

I live about 35minute from Austin, maybe i can catch a show.
