Homestudio 2 Help

Hi, My name is Patrick, and I am kinda new to the "recording without a tech" life..

I have Home Studio 2 that I am trying to use to record my personal music on..

Now I am familiar with Nuendo, which is a great proggie, and some Protools, but alas this one has be confused..

I cant get it to produce any sound...

As soon as I turn it on, it will prompt me to select my input/output MIDI, and if I dont select an input, the program will produce no sound......???? Do I need another sound card? What is going on with it!?

Lol.. Sorry if I am just another idiot who cant use it..

If you guys help I'll let you be some of the first to listen to my personal recordings, lol, thought I doubt that is much of a bargin...

You're supposed to select your soundcard for in & out.
If it repeatedly prompts you, as in each time you boot it, for I/O give it the souncard & see what happens.

Well you see, I would.. but it isn't giving me that option..

See.. here is the funny thing.. I have Home Studio 2, and Guitar Tracks Pro 3, and the GTP3 works... in and out.. Home Studio, however, does not..


But like I was saying, Its not giving me that option to select the sound card for IN... just out.. but alas.. No sound is COMING OUT.. lol..

Doesnt make alot of since really to me..
