Hi there. So, I have an apple iMac and the specifications are: retina,5k, 27 inch, 2017. 3.8ghz, intel core i5 8gb memory
I bought the iMac for music production, and I found out later that in order to produce music on a computer, you need to have at least 16gb RAM. As you can see, I only have 8gb RAM. I heard this, is this actually true and factual? I intend on getting my iMac 32gb RAM, so I can be ok when I start producing my music. Is it worth it to increase up to 16-32gb RAM. Will it be better. Also, I've had this iMac since 2017, if I'm not mistaken, and I want to know if its worth it, to increase the RAM. If so, I will increase it up to 32gb RAM. Please advise.
