I haven’t tried the UA amp sims but, I’ve tried most others, and have several I use. Usually they produce some trouble spots, I have to deal with to get them to sound more realistic. Nasty sound around 1k-2k. I usually sweep this area a bit till I find it the biting freq spot. The top end usually sound a bit digital to me so I add tape saturation to mellow out the digital brittle ( if it needs it). The sims are getting better with the cab/mic IRS.
