HI there , i have a percussive beat i practice rhythm to but its to fast , so i want to assign the hit points in the audio into midi notes , so i can alter the speed of the track at ease , instead of time streching it every time .

does any one know how to do it?

Appreciated!

What software are you using? It is just about impossible to give any advice without knowing what your specifications are.

Some software makes that easy. Seems you have some insight as you are 'time stretching' shizz.

I wish I could read you mind, but the internet (thankfully) can't do that....

I am guessing you have Cubase because of your reply in another thread.

You will be best off giving your specs and posting in the appropriate forum man.

Ok, then just select the 'event'. Bounce it so that tempo info is embedded. Then double click on it to open the Editor. Click the thing that looks like a musical note, and tempo changes will be applied.

I hope that made any sense.. :)
