Convert .wav to midi?

hey guys, still quite new to this mixing stuff, but does anybody know of a vst plugin that can accomplish this? i'm mainly going to use it to quantize drums since i own steven slate and kontakt. thanks
 
Are you trying to do this on .wav tracks that have a single drum sound on them, or trying to decode a multi-drum stereo file that has a whole kit on it?

I don't know the answer, BTW, just trying to clarify the question...
 
Cool - I imagine it's possible, just don't have the answer...

What DAW are you using ? Why not quantise the midi ? Or just quantise the audio ?
