Hi. This is a much edited version of something I posted in the Recording Techniques forum earlier today.
I want to record radio programs "as live" and, as my budget won't stretch to dedicated radio mixing desk, I'm looking for an alternative. After several years of research and experimentation, I've whittled my ideal mixer "shopping list" down to this:
XLR input for mic (and the capacity to monitor mic output - ie: my voice - through headphones as I speak)
At least 5 stereo inputs (TRS or RCA) - all with gain control
USB output to PC
Master and/or monitor stereo output to speakers (TRS or RCA)
Headphone output
Slide faders
PFL/Cue on all channels
Would the Behringer DX 2000 USB match - or come close to matching - these specs? Any advice would be much appreciated.
