Anyone use Roland to PreSonus V-FIRE output lately?

Hey guys,
I haven't used my Roland vs-2480 in years, but thought about purchasing the old PreSonus V-fire fire wire used in order to transfer files to my computer.

Sense the hardware and software are so old I'm kind of worried that drivers won't work anymore for modern Mac setup. Can anyone confirm or deny that they can still use the firewire transferring on a modern computer?

I figured it's worth a shot maybe somebody has experience and possibly owns these items. Thanks!

I'm still using Firewire on my Mac Mini (2012) running High Sierra. It's no longer something Apple is actively working on but it seems to keep chugging along. There are no separate drivers to install for Firewire devices as far as I can recall - having updated since Snow Leopard.

No experience with either of those pieces of hardware, however!

Maybe you can find the Presonus somewhere where you have a return policy, like Reverb...
