Hmm? Had hoped someone smarter than I would have kicked in on this one! No matter, I shall give it a do.
I presume what you want to do is record tracks 1-16 then "under that" tracks 17-32? If so this might depend on the device you are recording to, naked drive or a DAW on a PC/Mac.
My guess would be that the ICE 16 would, everytime, just record "session 1" 1-16, "session2" 1-16, ad inf? At least to stick or external drive.
But why not ask A&H? They are very nice men (and gals too I shouldn't wonder!) I have a ZED10 and they were like The Flash sorting my problem (which was in fact fekkin Msoft and W7. Not the fault of the mixer at all!)
