Hi All, I have F140r andxwantvtovstart recording my own music along with vocals.

As a beginner I have been advised to to get the Scarlett 212 studio Bundle, and Fender Speaker.
And recommendations on equipment on my requirements below?

Is this the right approach -I want optimum connectivity with the digital piano.

At this stage my requirements are:
To record and play my own music at home.
Record podcasts
Record my cooking programs

Many thanks
Shally

The studio bundle is a good starting place . . . maybe.

You can record vocals via Scarlet. You can record trhe Roland's audio via it's 3.5mm stereo jack into the Scarlet's line inputs. However, if you can't record vocals and paino audio simultaneously because on the Scarlet you can only have mike or line, not both.

You can record the Roland's midi via USB, then use that to drive a virtual instrument.

What Fender speaker are you referring to?

You would need a pair of monitors eventually, though you could do most of you work using headphones.
