Live studio recording session

[Hi guys,
I wanted to share a recording session that we shot last week in my studio:

It's was recorded live with 6 cameras and the audio went into Pro Tools 10.

Apart from the guitar's delay, all the reverb that you hear comes from a stereo room mic in the center of the band.
The mic is a Cascade X15 (stereo ribbon) going into a Valley People Dynamite compressor.

I love those kind of recording videos, please share yours if you have some.

Enjoy!

Enjoyed it a lot. Great musicianship and the recording sounds wonderful.

This should be in the Music Video section and I will move it over there for ya. Plus, I'll edit your post to embed the video.

Thanks for sharing and put up more of these. :)

really good sound, I'm liking the ribbon sound a lot, very natural sounding, this is more like a final release than a live recording, some very tight playing by the musicians

Lefty drummers always make me feel uncomfortable...

lol!

Sounds great man! Really good stuff there. :D

I loved the audio, but really didn't like the video. The Black Magics are fine cameras, but lots of stuff I see come out of them is very unsaturated as people spend lots of time in post doing grading. Quality of the sound matches the picture nicely in quality terms, and the musicianship is good, isn't it.
