my first try doing a tune over the net with a fellow young enough to be my son. It turned out pretty interesting, two guitars and
some catchy background music. I'm not a pro at mixing, but it's
got a nice feel to it.

sounds good! nice playing, the mix sounds nice too.

it's not my particular bag, but it's very well done

keep u pthe good work!

So, each of you played guitar.......................
Who is responsible for the rhythm section?
It does have an oldschool meets 21st century kind of feel.

Hevy said it best - really nice contrast of old and new styles - lots of very nice playing. Right off the bat I noticed the sound seems to be too coming from too far in the background. Now it could be that I'm so accustomed to hearing everything here right in my face, but to me it sounds like the mics were about 40 feet in front of the band. Nonetheless the mix is nicely spaced, drums sound very nice and blended really well for my tastes. Bass laying very nicely, too. So where/who/what did the rhythm section? And where's Freeport? I'm originally from Gettysburg.
Nice tune!!

Almost forgot!!! the tune cut out ever so abruptly at 4:42. Did that happen to ayone else?

thanks for listening, guys.
HevyD & MC I did all the ryhthm using a Technics SXPR600 digital ensemble and then added my guitar part,(all direct, no mics used) into an Akai DPS12.
loaded it into sound forge & saved it as an mp3, then posted the link.
I dont know how the other fellow added his part, i think he uses
his computer for recording.
MC, Freeport is 35 miles north of pgh up rte 28.
