'Unreciprocation' Dubstep/Drum'n'Bass

Hey guys just tried my hand at Dubstep/Drum'N'Bass. I used the Massive VST demo for most of the sounds in Cubase 5. This is the first mix. Let me know what you guys think cheers.

sounds great....mix sounds good to me...at 50 seconds the timing seems a bit off with the snare and the synth which makes it sound like its tripping over its self a little


Im thinking its heading more in a brostep direction...some nice little parts in there around the the 1.50 - 1.10 mark


as suggestion Id maybe stick a gated reverb on the snare to give it a better impact...and try to widen out the Massive bass parts with a stereo enhancer....they should really fill the spectrum, a small delay or even a little flanger will give them some movement I reckon

My first thought was also that the snare sounds a little flat.

I also think that the snare may be a little bit loud. It's not really sitting in the mix so much as standing on top of it shouting "Hey! Hey! Look at me! I'm the snare drum!"

Pretty cool song though. Got some interesting sounds going on here.
