Any suggestions you guys may have with the mix to make this song sound as commercial as possible. What I have so far is the youtube link below.

Drums pacific kit...421's on the toms, 57 on snare, audix d6 just in the port and a shure pg 52 inside the bass drum, 2 baby bottles on overheads.

Guitars 5150 head, marshall cab with a 57 and a 421 on cab

Bass- Mesa Rhino Bass Amp 8 10's with a 57 and the d6 on the grill

Vocals- baby bottle and a 421 backing it up

Well I think it's pretty close... My poor Celestions though. It's very bass heavy. Like at 1:24 and 2:08, isn't at least one thing clipping? Sounds like it to me, in any case my speakers almost blew out. I'd rein her in a bit in the low ends. Also, I don't know of much commercial stuff that uses grunts, so I'm not sure what you mean by 'as commercial as' possible. As good as possible considering the style?

Ive been looking for a song like this to mix...I wouldnt mind taking a crack at mixing it...plus there are some other good mixers on this site as well that could try a mix too.

Anyway you can upload tracks to a file sharing site and let someone mix it for you.

You need a better mixer
