hey guys...it's been awhile..........i've been out performing again, so that's been taking up my only free time...... but i'm plan on catching up on some listening here soon
anyhow, i just got a 12 string for chrsitmas....the first thing that ever made me even want a 12 string was a neil young song called "thrasher", so i decided i'd do my first 12 string recording of that very song.....
the i'm not sure how neil gets the wide mix that he does on the acoustic...it almost sounds that the 2 bass strings are wide left, the the middle strings center, and the two high strings panned far right.......i tried to do that w/ eq but it didn't quite come out the same...oh well
