    Hi all

Another song up. This ones a 3 minute blast that sounds more fun than it was to record. Don't think i've ever listened back to a song so many times trying to get things right.

Your fresh ears and thoughts would be welcome. Have a listen at:

    The songs called 'starboard'.

    Cheers, Mac

    Is it a nautical reference?
The fabulous Naiant Mics, perfect for acoustic instruments!

If you don't have DavidK's CD, you are a loser.

    My tunes. Thanks!

You have a cool sounding voice! David Bowie quality to it.

I like the beat of the song, it really catches ya!

I am not too crazy about the back-up harmonies though.

    I am having another listen.

The worst I could say, is to redo the backup vocals, and maybe do some tweaking with the drums?

    Nice song......TRUE

This is kind of trippy and relaxing. Cool feel overall. Love the guitar part/tone during the verse, very cool.

No real recommendations right now from me, just nice job, and a cool listen

I've somehow managed to delete some virtual tracks that contained a lot of the parts from the previous mix so gotta leave those backing vox where they are, unless i really wanna re-record the whole thing basically...

What i have done is added a master/ final effect, gone to work on the eq and raised the whole volume.

A lot happier with how the vocals sit and i think the whole song sounds punchier. See what you think, it's now up at ....
