"Spiral" Metal/Rock Original song

I am going to add vocals to this, but I wanted to get some feedback on the instrumental mix so far. I've heard it so many times, I need some new ears:p

Sounds alright to me, though the ambiance and cymbals sound a bit "tinny" to me, kinda like that "music in a box" sound to me. Sounds like you have the overheads panned dead center or just one overhead was recorded. If you had two then it sounds as if you may have a phase issue going, can't really tell you much without hearing the story behind em so I'll wait till then, other than that. Instruments sound fine to me, I'm sure a good master will bring out a lot of punch and life so don't worry too much about that right now if you are fretting over that, it's every mixing engineer's enemy. Don't over think it.
 
Oh right, I forgot to pan the overheads. I got the drum audio files from someone else who made them in FL Studio for me, so I just forgot to pan them :/ Thanks!
