I am involved in an ongoing contest with some other musicians to come up with really wierd and strange stuff that forces you to go outside what you normally play and listen to.

Anything goes and the weirder the bettter.

Here's one of my first entries into the ring.

The concept was if a hip hop drummer was sitting in outer space playing and was also tuned into all the noise that was streaming through space from earth, this is what he would hear.

It sounds good. Good sound quality and its clever.

As far as the contest:

This is weird as you got? :D Cmon, my cat could run on the keyboard and sound weirder :D

There is logic and a pattern in this piece. Perhaps there shouldnt be. Its a very good exercise in thinking outside the box and its DAMN hard to leave the boundaries of tempo and tonality, but it can be done.

Its fairly easy to. If you didnt put a disclaimer on it I would have thought it was simply an electronica piece. If you ever get a chance, check out a Piece called Eight Songs for a Mad King by Peter Maxwell Davies. Now THATS weird stuff.

The piece itself is actually pretty cool.

Hehe, it's weird for me! :D

I know there's weirder stuff out there, I got a few more to post.
That was just my first offering.

Hey DK, where did all the songs go on your music page?
I went back to listen to a couple of them and there's only two there now.
