I made an mp3 using cool edit 2000 and mpeg suite; the sound quality is poor, e.g. the bass drum sounds like
it`s being flogged with a wet towel, why please?????

Hi, my tunes are at www.musicbox.i-p.com
Please give me any feedback. I`m looking for sound quality all the time. I`m now using cubase 5 and an sw1000xg sound card. During the process towards mp3 a lot of sound quality is lost

    Cool

What mp3 encoder are you using?

I dint find the sound quality was bad...but what I listened to was done all in MIDI...hard to go wrong with sound quality with just MIDI(all flamers, thats my opinion only)....

    Wink

Ok, I just downloaded L3Encwin or something and although the encode time is much longer, the quality is better with the same file size.. TaTa.

the sound quality was not bad in the first place. Does this mean the file is bigger. I like your music. The web site is nice too. Who made it?
