a band I'm currently recording. they are called the march hare. not really finished the mix, any opinions would be great. take a listen, let me know what you think. definately an interesting band. thanks

 
The mp3 forum is a give-and-take cooperative. Have you posted comments to others' threads?

Hmmmm, it's certainly different.

Reminds me of late 70s Zappa a bit. Interesting panning on this.

I could use more of the vocals, they are a bit hard to make out. It's fairly tight. It's a little long for my taste.

Overall pretty good. Boost the low vocals about 35 seconds in, I cant hear it.

Yeah - definitely reminds me of Zappa....plus theatre of some kind.

Serious arrangement though and pretty good playing - drummer (and really everyone) keeps right up there......

The song does distract from the mix a bit at first. But once you get over that ..... Everything is well recorded/mixed/panned and levelled. And everything is easy to hear but still blends well - even as "different" as it is.

Good mix - the song takes a couple of listens to get used to.... ;)
