Trailing Behind Again
We used to post little snipits to have guitar players wank on and see who could outdo whom. It was all in fun.

This was done on my Yamaha PSR keyboard, so it's not super quality, but it's got a pretty cool hook. Enjoy!
 
It's midday here. I might have a shot at it. Even though I haven't played guitar seriously in nearly a year, so it might be just creative noise. At the same time, it might be just the starting point I need to pick my guitar back up again and get back into it all. I've been away from it too long now. Can't listen to anything right now though as I'm stuck at work.

Take your time. The last time I started one of these, it was going strong for a couple weeks. Hopefully this one will too.
 
I always say, I might do one of these...then chicken out..so what the hell...Hey Rokket, I may try this one:eek:...I only have a zillion unfinished projects in the works already and they'll make for a good excuse, if I chicken out again....:D

The whole idea is that you try something new. With your chops, I bet you can do some cool stuff with this.

It was a tough nut to crack, I had to play in the D Major scale as opposed to my beloved pentatonic, it just wouldn't co-operate. Funny, when I got done I said to myself,damn that's southern reggae :D

Thanx man...But I just couldn't find the right position to play in. it always sounded too "Keef" for the feel of your groove.

EXACTLY. I played in D for a while but it wasn't right. Then I went down to B ( I don't know if it's really "D" and "B" I'm talking about, but I mean playing that basic blues scale at the 10th and then the 7th fret, if that makes sense). Neither sounded wrong, but neither sounded right.:(
