Hi All

Treading on sacred floydian ground (for me anyway:D!), i've had a crack at one of my all time favorite (underdog!) floyd tunes "Chidhood's End" from their 1972 LP "Obscured by Clouds", please feel free to pop by to soundclick for a listen, and any comment, critique, feedback is always welcome!!!

If the guitars weren't so out of tune, I would really be enjoying this version.

I agree that this is an underdog Floyd tune, as is the whole record in general. I'm actually one of the few people I know that has seen the movie this record was the soundtrack for (in an actual movie theater and not just video).

Great song, very nice job on it, unfortunately I have to agree on the guitar tuning. However I shouldn't talk as I'm notorious for the same.

Thanks for listening and for the feedback guys, I'll have another crack someday at redoing the guitars, hopefully more in tune next time:o.

I too have had the dubious pleasure of seeing "la vallee", I would have found it a torture to get through without the music tho, but i agree with mad that the whole album is full of class tunes for what was a simple soundtrack album, i think Nick Mason calls it his favorite Floyd Lp, and somedays I'd agree with him!.

Oustanding sir! I've covered the odd Floyd tune myself. Excellent cover.
Really enjoyed your cover of "Fearless" up on nowhere radio, that was one of the ones I was considering doing before choosing this one, and I already have your "I me Mine" on my car cd!!!, another tune im completely obsessed with!:D
