Peter Baldwin "Rob the Bank

Interesting song.

I wonder if it might be a little too polished. The vocals have this really unconventional sound and intensity that would benefit from a rougher, punkier mix. But a lot of the instrumentation (especially the keys) are really smooth, calming, and polished.

This song touches upon a lot of different genres in a way which is pretty cool.

for sure. I guess it comes mostly in the way Peter directs his band. I sounds like it goes more into some of the Michael Jackson break down stuff mixed into an ambient soul type deal. There might be ways to pull aggression, but I think the softness is kind of his thing. It attracts to his sensitivity, which I think fans (especially girls) seem to go for.
