OK - I've lurked a lot, posted to a few...

Here's one that my partner wrote nearly 30 yrs ago (we'll let all youse younguns figger out about who...) that we just got recorded.

Any and all comments welcome - performance, arrangement, production, etc... lemme have it!

Overall, I'm giving you 3.5 out of 5 stars.

My biggest critisizm is that the vocals don't really "sit well in the mix". I'm trying to think how I can put this.... there is so much feeling in the guitar riffs, yet the vocals lack any real fealing or "gusto" to me. I would re-track the vocals, and try to really put your heart into them so they match the "mood" of the instruments. You could probably also "fix" the vocal track (at least some) with some effects, or something.

I enjoyed it though. Nice mix!

Thanx Shaz - I was beginnin' to despair of any response...

In fairness to Mark, the guy who wrote and sang it, I changed the mix up pretty severely after he sang it. Shouldn't be any problem to have him track it again...
