Vocals sound a little like Iggy during the Idiot/Lust For Life period though they are enough of their own thing to be YOURS.
The XTC thing is in the guitar figure.
Actually if there was more drone in the back you'd be more Iggy.
It does have a "Berlin, by the wall, before the fall..." feel to it except the lead line - I reckon that needs a rethink - it's good but doesn't seem to sit in place as if 'twer from another genre. Either a Richard Lloyd or Robert Quine line would be perfect - you know gonzo but tight?
If I had to sum it up I'd say BLOODY GOOD.
