New Composition

Before this goes onto a compilation cd I am making, I was hoping to get some input on its production. It's hard, bluesy guitar instrumental. Thanks for taking the time to listen:

put down the pipe, and take a bit of click off the kick and add a touch of ass to it. The snare could use a teeny touch of low mid for me. back the cymbals down a tad. The bass would excite me a bit more if you put a compressor on it to keep the envelope up, it dies a bit too fast... You got a nice arrangment and some tasteful groove. Good pickin
 
Thanks for the response, Toki. I had a few friends over and they were a bit critical of the drums also. That makes too many for it to not need work. I'll change em up over the weekend.

Liked the tune...Santana-ish. Nice clean harmonics...tasty.
 
thanks punkin. i put a lot of work into the guitar tracks. i am redoing the rhythm section to give it more punch. i appreciate you taking the time to listen and to comment.
