My 2nd song!

I was quite thrilled, because my first song got so positive reception, so I started to make a new song yesterday (no...not that Beatles song). This one took maybe 10 hours or something, because I did bass and drum tracks twice (much better result). I even tried to tune sounds a bit (not sure if that is better)...

Hi guy. My first impression is that the soft guitar melody in the intro isn't up front. It should almost be treated as a vocal.

This heavier part is a balanced a better.

Song wise, it's O.K but IMO wants to change direction to add movement. It lacks structure. Even though the chords change a bit they're close subs, so the function still sounds the same if you're just a listening. It doesn't seem to go anywhere to me?

All around good job on recording

I agree with you. When I was recording, it sounded a lot better, but there should be more difference between chorus and "verse"...maybe there should be pre-chorus or something. This should change quite a lot, if/when I got vocals on it.
