Just a mess around track with no vox added yet (working on it).

the fade in intro is a bit naff, will have to come up with something else

It sounds a bit thin? listening through fairly cheap/old monitors - certainly sounds better in cans i think. also had some trouble with the sitar, as it had some biting/slicing higher freq which i've dipped, but maybe it sounds a bit stark?

definitely not the next top 40 hit! haha

any constructive comments would be good, as my compression/eqing is pretty novice, amongst other things.

    thanks to one and all!

Sounds great to me! I didn't notice any thinness or anything. I thought all the instruments sounded very pleasant, and I dig all the sounds actually. It was a fun track to listen to ... just kind of hypnotic and nice. I dig!

Sounded OK. The song never went anyway. The guitar was missing a lot of high end. Maybe intentional - not sure.

Starts out like a slowed down version of "On Broadway". I liked it.

    Thanks for the comments everyone!
Thought the same about the guitar. Very middy..
Probably sounds more song-ey with lyrics - but totally agree it doesn't really go anywhere..

What was your recording environment like? Hardwood floors, carpet, mic, input levels, etc.

definately a 60s vibe. I love the percussion and sitar work.
    Really cool!

Recorded in various bedroom type spaces, mainly DI, midi or akg perception 120.
I was a bit concerned about the sitar, feeling a bit 'slicey' on the ears... Don't know if anyone else gets that
