So my latest purchase is a Microbrute synth to go with the Volca Bass I acquired a couple of months ago.
Here's a shortish sample of both of them together. Analog baby!

 
Once both synths are going, they really bury the drums, but it sounds pretty cool. Works as a demo of your new toys. :D
 
Sounds like a battle between the drum rhythm and the synths...swing vs straight...that's what SHE said.
 
I thought it was cool. Great strong low end without being too rumbly.

I was OK with the drum level while the synths were pounding away. The synths are the centerpiece and ought to be out front.
 
Hey guys thanks for checking it out. Yes some tension there with the swing and the straight. I had the drums already recorded for another project so I just made use of them. This thing is festooned with knobs - there's probably a swing button on there somewhere..
