Metal - testing Mackie Control with Cubase, Here's my first mix using it

Comments and suggestions much appreciated.

I'm still learning how to integrate the Presonus Series 3 into my workflow. This mix only took like 3 1/2 hours, including all the guitar re-amping (about 8 guitar tracks). It was an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE getting the Series 3 working with my PC and getting Mackie Control working with Cubase. I almost threw the darn thing out the window.

The mix felt like it went way faster than usual, though I'm still using mouse and keyboard for a lot of it, being able to setup my group channels on the mixer and adjust levels with everything in one place felt super productive. I might adjust that bass little bit more, maybe bring it down a db or so.

Guitars are through my own little hand modded 18w (loosely based on a soldano), SM57/R121 on a Splawn 4x12, Focusrite Trackmaster Pro preamps.
Bass is Waves GTR3
Drums were basically unusable, so I resampled the skins with SSD4.
No clue what the synths were, i just got stereo wav files on those.

Mostly Waves plugins. Mastered to somewhere around -13 RMS.

Tracks were provided by Cambridge free stems for educational purposes.
Song is Of Ice and Hopeless Fate by Storm of Particles.

Thanks!
