Metal song (no vocals or bass)

Hi, first post

No bass or vocals. If anyone wants to add vocals please do, looking for korn/slipknot/fear factory type vocals. I'll be buying a bass next week.

First time doing home recording so I'm not too sure on what I'm doing
Anyway here's the song.

I'm having a hard time with the mids, everything is ok in Sonar but when I play the wav or mp3 back it's very 'closed in'. :\

Any comments and/or suggestions to get a bigger sound would be very helpful.

Actually sounds pretty good man....nice and big. To me it sounds like you have it panned pretty well, as the guitars sort of bounce off each other at times.

I didn't. Depending on bass, and vocals, you might have to eq the guitars some, but until then, they sound good. They just might take up quite a bit of space.

sounds good, what amp and mic are you using?, im trying to improve my guitar recordings,are the drums real?

Sorceress, the guitars are recorded with GuitarRig 2.
The drums are samples in Reason.

wow, thanks for replying, i was guessing pod but it sounds a little different i thought, i had no idea reason made good sounding drums, ill have to check out the guitar rig , modeled amps have come a long way, i have two songs here http://www.audiostreet.net/artist.aspx?artistid=35064 let me know what you think
