this is my first time recording anything on my new vs2400cd. let me know what you think and/or what should be done to it to make it sound better or help me with future projects.

the one thing i've noticed is that the overall volume of the mix is pretty low. i'm not a big fan of the guitar sounds because they used a bass cab and a marshall jackhammer distortion (in my oppinion, the worst pedal ever)

excuse the bad singer.
 
the drummers tempo wavers a lot.. things sound pretty mono.. the cymbals are drowning things out in the solo section.. where's the bass? the vocals sound different from the music.. not a bad tune..

yeah..i agree with everything B.SABBATH said. If your stuck with the bass cab and jack pedal next time - embrace it: find the most interesting sounds you can get out of that combination and go with it - with that type of song you recorded, there are alot of guitar tones that would have worked well (e.g. with a little more fuzz and that amp you could have approximated some old smashing pumkins guitar sounds).
