I think the chorus has lost a touch of it's "lift". Maybe it's the guitars being lower. I haven't the previous downloaded but I believe it had more punch. The vocals are still a bit masked by the music; the harmonies are well matched though to each other. The overall vocal level seems even though.

Ray, I think it's either the jangely guitars that are too loud or the voice too low. Even when compared to the drums I feel them loud. Really interesting sound though.

I don't think I heard the original, but anyway...

The vocals are really quiet in relation to the rhythm guitars. I'm having trouble making out any lyrics. All the other instruments (drums, synth, vox, lead guitars) are mixed well relative to each other, but the rhythm guitar just drowns it all out.

Interesting song though. You've got some cool instrumentation going on there.
