I need some BRUTAL opinions on this new mix

What's funny about the mix on this track, is the other 3 songs on there (ash, egnaro, artemis) were all tracked at the same time. We took a different mixing approach to this track, to try and make things more in your face with the compression on the drums.

Hey JosserkX, I like your song and composition.

As far as the mixing is concerned, I wish the snare had more high frequency information and same with the vocals. Also, as a personal preference, I would have liked the vocals to be more upfront than it is relative to the other instruments. Thanks!

hell yeah, thanks for the feedback. I'm showing this to my drummer haha, I felt the same but he likes it deep =X

I think the reverb on the snare takes it to the back of the mix a little more than you want in a tune like this. Taming that reverb may focus it a bit more and put it more up front.
