This is my first attempt at recording,it is only a demo, no mastering has been done. I wrote the song as well as play all of the music, the vocals however are borrowed( I dont sing well). The flange in the prechorus is intentional.

wow not bad at all for a first attempt. Are the drums real or is that a drum machine? I love the guitar parts but I didnt really like the tone. I would turn up the mids a bit and maybe some high end too because it seemed a bit muddy. how were the guitars recorded?

or maybe instead turn down lows if your eq isnt too nice. really nice for your first attemp although,yeah, it is a a little bit muddy

drums are played real, but on a hart dynamics/roland kit. guitars are direct line6 pod into a red box.as far as eq I am recording on sonar3 producers edition, and I am still learning the program, but I am sure it will let me eq. Thanks for your opinions...
