Gang Shinobi, hip hop/electronic

Wow, that's got some low end. It's shaking my car and I'm inside the house listening on headphones. :D

My sense is that the kick sits a little too high in the mix and the vocal sounds are a little too understated. But that's just me. What do I know. The last time I listened to electronica, they called it something else. :laughings: So I'll let others chime in.

The kick isn't too bad, I'd say. It's very loud, which is par for modern beats. It's not doing the thing where it side-chains everything and dominates the mix, so I'd say it's sitting fine.

That sub-bass that comes in around 0:25 is basically indecipherable. In a denser mix, it could be some cool low end, but here it just sounds kinda farty.

I think this mix is kinda too sparse overall. It has some big sounds that don't really work except in dense mixes. Of course, this is just the beat, and adding vox will fill things out. But you'll want a loooot of vocal parts to really fill it out.
