I'm the bassist for Danger Girl and the Bad Boys, a cover band in San Jose CA.
I recorded some tracks Saturday and these are the rough mixes that we're submitting to the KFOX Last Band Standing competition:

We recorded these live to hard disk and I mixed "in the box" on Logic Express. I'd appreciate any comments. This is literally only the 2nd time I've ever done this. Thanks!

I'm no expert, so please take this with a grain of salt.

I'm listening to Mission of Mercy. Vocals are way upfront. I think they can be dialed down a little, and maybe a little more compression to even it out. It sounds like a fun song. Everything was well played.

Middle of the road link didn't work for me.

White Rabbit - Man, haven't heard this song in a long time. I think if you bring up the drums and bass slightly, everything will blend nicely. Your lead singer, as great as she is, waivers a little on the long notes.

Good luck with your competition, you will do well.

    Cheers
