FEARLESS AFRAID
(Words by Jonathan Linton, Music by Jonathan Linton)

Wo!

Yeah yeah!
Yeah yeah!
Yeah yeah!

A leap of faith I take
It’s to late
To procrastinate
Dreams and fears are packed
Wheels hit tarmac
There’s no going back

One foot infront of the other
There’s a whole world to discover

Future’s no certain for me
But I move on
Fearless afraid
Master of my destiny
So I move on
Fearless afraid

I’m movin’ on, fearless unafraid
I’m movin’ on, fearless unafraid
I’m movin’ on, fearless unafraid
I’m movin’ on, fearless unafraid

Like Doctor Livingstone
I face the unknown
Leave the comfort zone
Courage that cannot fade
I’m not afraid
Of the choice I made

One foot infront of the other
There’s a whole world to discover

Future’s no certain for me
But I move on
Fearless afraid
Master of my destiny
So I move on
Fearless afraid

I’m movin’ on, fearless unafraid
I’m movin’ on, fearless unafraid
I’m movin’ on, fearless unafraid
I’m movin’ on, fearless unafraid

SOLO

Future’s no certain for me
But I move on
Fearless afraid
Master of my destiny
So I move on
Fearless afraid
Future’s no certain for me
But I move on
Fearless afraid
Master of my destiny
So I move on
Fearless afraid

I’m movin’ on, fearless unafraid
I’m movin’ on, fearless unafraid
I’m movin’ on, fearless unafraid
I’m movin’ on, fearless unafraid…

I really like this one. You've given it some good energy and a nice groove - the 30 sec intro is a nice kick off.
The change up with "I’m movin’ on, fearless unafraid" x4 is also a nice touch.

Good performances on this one. The vocals sound a bit hyped/too excited in the upper mids maybe?

The energy is great overall. That said, it sounds a bit one-dimensional as a mix. By that I mean that, once everything comes in, nothing really changes. The energy just kind of stays at the same level. I thought maybe at the guitar solo (nice solo, BTW), you could drop the bottom out a bit and remove the rhythm guitar and have it just be bass, drums, and lead.

I don't know. I just kind of wanted to hear something change or hear some variation. Maybe some vocal harmonies would be nice as well?

Also ... I'm a little confused. Is the song called "Fearless Unafraid" or "Fearless Afraid?" Because the lyrics had both in them, but it sounds as though you were always singing "unafraid." Maybe I'm hearing it wrong?
