I’ll just say the rest of the songs:

The “in all the time it took to meet her” is modeled off of For No One when Paul sings “you find all the words of kindness linger on”

The ending is loosely based on All Together Now.

I’ve tried doing other stews like this one and they either sound like crap or waaaay too close to the original. I’m going to keep trying, though. It’s fun!

Ah, yes I can hear the bit in "For No One" --- that major 3rd interval in the melody and the similar rhythm. Nicely disguised, though.
