Darker Side

Hi all,

In December 2013 I wrote my first half decent song "Darker Side". I had a real drum recording I made many years ago laying around and retracked the song. I'm interested in how this stacks up after all that time.

Well, sounds good on my system. They could come up just a tad, that is more of a taste thing, but they sound really good. Cymbals and snare could use a little top end.

Those were just opinions and not really anything wrong with the mix. Everything played out real nice on my system.

Nice job of putting that one together. Its a good song. I generally like your vocals. They fit the heavy sound, but its not the screaming/guttural stuff that too many use.

I don't know that I would up the brightness of the snare or cymbals. I think it would draw too much attention to them to the detriment of the "groove".
