"Consumption" -- out of the box

Once it gets rolling, it's really good. The vocal with the effect could be cleaner...kinda hard to make out. Maybe back the effect off a bit and see how it comes out? :confused:
Other than that, it's sounding pretty good Kev.
 
Another cool tune K-Dub....

The intro leads sound out of tune, not so sure about the latter parts.
The distorted vocals are too hard for me to understand.
The clean vocals are fine.
The lead solo has an excellent tone to it.
Pop right after the solo.
The bass sounds okay.
Levels seem good overall.
May be a "Work in Progress" but it's pretty close IMO....

It's funny though ...

There's a click in the bass track (I totally missed) ... and then folks caught it.

There was too much room in the drums (mostly the snare), and folks here caught it.

There were a dozen things wrong ... and folks on these boards caught some of all of it.

These places are treasured. I don't have the ears of certain those ...

... who get it when they listen ...

New mix up ...

Aforementioned click has been fixed ... (compressor -- quick attack and release -- set about 5:1)

I also removed the distortion from the verse vox. I'm hoping it binds the various parts of the arrangement together better -- unifying the piece.

I'd be interested in hearing whether folks prefered the distortion or like it better w/o.
