Hey again. I recorded this with my friend this afternoon. Apparently it's a Byrds cover but I don't know the name. I think this mix turned out very good; I spent 10 minutes messing with mic placements for drums. Let me know what you all think!

Alrighty, I know this a Byrds cover, but I've only heard the Tom Petty version... so time to crank this...

Cool voice for this song... the bass sounds good... It sounds like there's a little bit too much high end on the guitar, sounds in the way a bit, maybe try EQing the high end on that some or just lowering the volume a bit and see how it sounds... otherwise good party tune and you guys did a nice job

    Here's my second mix:

I raised the snare quite a bit and cut more lows off the bass to reduce boominess.

Well don't trust me too much since my speakers don't exactly tear it up... I like the new snare sound, but personally I actually did prefer the boominess you had going in the first one... just my thoughts

sounds very authentic man. I thought the bass could come up a touch, add a bit of presence on the vox, or shelve bit off the top of the guitars. Otherwise that is a hoppin tune.
