very nice job! the cymbals sound great to me. can you describe what's going on there? which mic were used for the overheads? what kind of cymbals? what preamp?

The overheads were a pair of mxl 603's through a dmp3. I'm not sure what kind of cymbals were used-they used our drummers cymbals, so I can find out easy enough. His ride kicks ass-best peice in his entire kit. This was recorded in a warehouse & the sound in the room was great. I used a pair of ecm8000's for room mics & mixed those in as well (time shifting them to match the overheads)
 
I should have used a more exciting header. Or maybe everyone's busy with the 'challenge' (good idea). Anyways, anyone else care to listen?
