Buckethead Cover

[Stratomaster]

A lady friend of mine sent me the song by buckethead "sketches of Spain" and said "record this for me". Of course i accepted the challenge! Luckily it was one of the few buckethead songs i have the skills to play.

I took a long time with this, i had it recorded then got a new rode nt2 and recorded all the acoustics over again. PRS guitar using a jhs double-barrel distortion into a mesa boogie for electric.

Parts of this theme appear to be borrowed from the adagio movement of Joaquin Rodrigo's Concerto de Aranjuez. This is the most popular classical guitar concerto of all time:

The mix sounds really nice and controlled and wide to me. Well balanced.

These is one plucked instrument on the left channel that sticks out a touch to my ear. Maybe dial that back a touch? Maybe not I dunno. That's subjective.
