Man, that was fucking insane!! The guitars are dead on.
What equipment did you use to record the drums? I was really
impressed with the drum sound. Great job man.
 
branded- its been a while since we tracked this so Im just going from memory here. I believe the drums were done with shure 57's on the snare and toms. 2 mxl603s for overheads and a shure Beta 52 for kick. All the mics went through the preamps in my alesis studio 32 (still trying to upgrade to some better pres) into an alesis adat xt. I believe the kit was a pearl session custom , and the cymbals were prob K custom/ A custom.
For the mix i just used some light compression/gating on the snare and kick from 2 presonus bluemax and an old dbx gate (can't remember the model number right now). Reverb was from a behringer virtualizer pro (still saving for a descent lexicon or tc electronics).
