AB Test Tones...A or B for guitar tones.

I think if you used a high pass filter on "A" to eliminate the tubby bottom and ditched the reverb on "B" that both could be useable tones.

Yeah, if you could find a way to get both to play nicely together, you'll probably get a better overall tone.

That being said, I like distorted B better. It's clearer and less muddy.

I think either clean tone could work depending entirely on what's going on with the rest of the music.
 
Thanks for the listen guys. I liked the warmth of A on both, but B would probably be a better sit in the mix. I guess A was a little muddy as well. Thanks again.
 
Wow cross posting at RP - that's the way to use some bandwidth. :)

Personally I like the B side as it stands as a solo part.

Like you said, in the mix it all changes.
